GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) - Gulfport police say they found a gold SUV matching the description of    a vehicle involved in a Monday night drive-by shooting.  Gulfport Deputy Chief Leonard Papania said they found the SUV in West Gulfport around 7:30 Monday night. Papania said they were also talking to someone believed to be associated with the vehicle.

Police responded to a drive-by shooting in the Forest Heights subdivision around 5:40 Monday evening.  There they found two adult males shot outside a home at the corner of Maple Court and Holly Circle.  According to police, multiple shot were fired.  The shooting victims were taken to an area hospital.  Police could not confirm their conditions.

Despite Monday's shooting, members of the Forest Heights Homeowners Association say a lot of positive changes have taken place in the neighborhood.  The association and neighborhood residents say they won't tolerate such violence in their community.

An Emergency Neighborhood Watch meeting will be held this Thursday at 6:00 p.m., according to Councilwoman Ella Holmes-Hines.  The location has yet to be announced.

Holmes-Hines, the Forest Heights Homeowners Association and the Gulfport Police Department's Community Watch program will be on hand for that meeting.
