Vancleave drowning victim found, identified

VANCLEAVE, MS (WLOX) - VANCLEAVE, MS (WLOX) - Jackson County resident Wade Alan Sword, 50, was reported missing Sunday night after his girlfriend claimed he may have fallen in the water.

Jackson County Sheriff Mike Byrd confirmed to WLOX News that a man's body was pulled from Bluff Creek at 7:30 am Monday morning, about 50 yards south of Barge Landing.

This is believed to be the same location of where the man had fallen into the water Sunday night.

Sheriff Byrd told WLOX news he believes Sword had been drinking.
