BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - A water slide for children will be sure to cool them off this year for the annual Biloxi Seafood Festival on the Town Green.

Fresh seafood dishes will abound along with live entertainment, children's activities and arts and crafts.

It all happens Saturday and Sunday in the heart of Biloxi. The award-winning festival runs Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults.

On Sunday, visitors can pay an extra $5 in the gumbo championship area to sample all of the delicious gumbo contest entries.

About 25,000 visitors are expected to attend the two-day festival. This year tourism money from BP and the Mississippi Gulf Coast Convention and Visitors Bureau will help pay for this year's big event.
