Where do we go from here with the BP oil spill?

BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - On Day 115 of the Coastal Crisis, the question being asked today is where do we go from here? That is what leaders from state and local agencies will discuss concerning the BP oil spill.

Since the middle of July, the Deepwater Horizon Well has been capped, first temporarily and then by static kill and bottom kill. But, not before dumping 207 million gallons of oil into the Gulf of Mexico.  In South Mississippi some tar balls continue to wash ashore as boom is being hauled out of the Mississippi Sound.

So this afternoon the people in our community who are on the front lines of the BP oil spill cleanup will brainstorm on the best way to proceed for our future.

Danielle Thomas will be at that meeting of the minds this afternoon in Biloxi and she will share with you what is said later today on wlox.com and WLOX News.
