BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - A 64-year-old Biloxi man is the latest heat related death in South Mississippi.
Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove said Biloxi Police were called out to a home on Barrett Road Wednesday where they found Richard Sanderson dead. The cause of death was heat stroke.
Hargrove also told WLOX News that the last day he was known to be alive was July 21. Sanderson lived alone, and all of his relatives are out of state.
Hargrove said the man did have power, but his window air conditioning unit was not turned on.
