GAUTIER, MS (WLOX) - Police are on the look out for a man who robbed and shot a clerk at a convenience store in Gautier Friday night. Just before 9:00 p.m., police say a man entered the fast track gas station at the corner of Highway 90 and Ladnier Road and demanded money from the register.
The clerk complied, but the suspect still shot the woman and fled. She was transported to Singing River Hospital, where she was treated and released.
Police describe the suspect as an approximately six foot tall, black male in his twenties with gold caps on his front teeth.
The vehicle he fled in was described as a large, old model vehicle either green or blue in color with shiny wheels.
