Drive-by robber wanted in Ocean Springs

OCEAN SPRINGS, MS (WLOX) -

OCEAN SPRINGS, MS (WLOX) - Police are searching for a man who robbed a woman at gunpoint while she sat at a intersection in Ocean Springs. It happened around 4:30 Friday morning.

Police said the victim was sitting in her car at the intersection of Highway 90 and Bechtel Blvd. when a man pulled up alongside her and demanded her wallet. Investigators said the man had a handgun, but the woman was not injured.

The robber got away with an undisclosed amount of money and property. Police said he was driving a four door sedan, similar to a Honda Accord. He drove off to the east on Highway 90.

Police said the robber was a clean shaven black man in the late 20s. He wore a white bandana and dark colored tank top.
