BIRMINGHAM, AL (WLOX) -- Games times and TV assignments are set for Ole Miss and Mississippi State's first three games, as the SEC announced the schedule for the first three weeks of the football season  Wednesday at SEC Media Days.

The Rebels' season opener with Jacksonville State will kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT on Sept. 4 and will be televised by CSS. On Sept. 18, Ole Miss will return home for the conference opener against Vanderbilt, and game time is set for 11:21 a.m. on the SEC Network.

As previously announced, the Rebels' matchup at Tulane on Sept. 11 will be an 8 p.m. start on ESPN2 from the Louisiana Superdome.

Mississippi State's season-opening football contest with Memphis on Sept. 4, as well as the Bulldogs' road trip to LSU on Sept. 18, have been set. Both games will kickoff at 6 p.m. CT and each will be televised by ESPNU.

Those two times join the previously announced kickoff for the MSU-Auburn game at Davis Wade Stadium on Thursday, Sept. 9. That game is set for 6:30 p.m. on ESPN.

Coach Dan Mullen's troops will commence preparations for the 2010 campaign when practice begins Tuesday, August 3.
