METAIRIE, LA (AP) - The New Orleans Saints have agreed to trade tackle Jammal Brown to the Washington Redskins in exchange for an undisclosed pick in the 2011 NFL draft.
The team said Saturday that Brown, a restricted free agent, had signed a tender offer before the trade.
The 29-year-old Brown was a first-round selection in the 2005 draft from Oklahoma.
After starting 58 games for the Saints in five season, he missed all of the 2009 season with a hip injury and a sports hernia.
Brown is a two-time Pro Bowl selection.
