BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - Just a month after being near death, Bret Michaels is planning to make his comeback in Biloxi. The singer's website, www.bretmichaels.com, says he'll return to the stage May 28 at Biloxi's Hard Rock Casino.
The concert comes just a month after Michaels' doctors say he nearly died from a massive brain hemorrhage. After he left a Phoenix hospital last week, his neurosurgeon advised him to take four to six weeks of rest, although he didn't issue any specific orders.
The singer plans to remain on tour throughout the fall and early winter, with dates scheduled through December. Dates that were postponed due to the singer's medical emergencies are currently being rescheduled.
Michaels rose to fame as the lead singer of the glam-rock band "Poison" before starring in later years in the VH1 reality series "Rock of Love."
