Get your answers tonight from BP

JACKSON COUNTRY, MS (WLOX) - Jackson County residents who have questions about the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico will have a chance to ask them tonight at a town hall meeting.

Jackson County Supervisor John McKay says representatives from BP Corporation and county emergency managers will be there to update the situation in the gulf and how Jackson County is preparing should the oil wash ashore here. Those gathered will also answer questions from the public.

The town hall meeting will take place at the Ocean Springs Elk's Lodge on Beach View at 6:30pm.

BP opened an office Wednesday in Pascagoula to handle possible damage claims and the office will also be used for a future volunteer coordination center. The office is located in downtown at 710 Delmas Avenue.

Jessica Bowman will be at the Town Hall meeting and will bring you the concerns residents have later tonight on and WLOX News.
