BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - The Huntsville Havoc hit the ice for a crucial practice session, trying to fine tune it's game plan for the Mississippi Surge.

Havoc head coach Randy Murphy knows his SPHL team has a difficult assignment, saying, "They've got a strong team. They are number one in the league overall and they earned it. They are well coached, very deep offensively. They have some guys who can really hurt you and they have good goaltending. I think the two teams match up pretty similar."@

The Mississippi Surge are confident. That confidence can be justified since the Surge skated past the Havoc 7 times in 8 regular season games.

It comes down to three more victories against a worthy opponent.

Coach Steffon Walby and his Surge players know their mission is not complete.

Surge defenseman Daryl Moor said, " No definitely not. That's why we worked hard during the season to get to this point. You know Walby assembled quite a group of guys, we came from all different places but obviously it's worked out so far."

You can bet Huntsville's players are just as eager to end the season on a high note as the Surge players and that adds up to an exciting best-of-five championship series.
