Snapper Jack's House of Seafood is making a big splash in the Grand Casino Gulfport.
When you walk in the restaurant, Snapper Jack greets you himself. And that's just one of the things that make Snapper Jack's unique. There are lampshade buckets for lights, big fish hanging on the wall and even crab traps over the bar.
Jason Loving is the head chef at the restaurant, and the daily challenge is what keeps him going. He says he never know how many guests he's going to have, especially with Carnival Cruise Lines now coming in on Sundays.
He's very proud of what the restaurant has to offer. It is a casual and comfortable restaurant.
Some of the dishes include: pork chops are marinated in a honey bar-b-que sauce, stuffed Flounder, an enormous seafood platter, gumbo, and a shrimp boat sandwich, seafood and beef po-boys. There's a salad bar that comes with all entrees.
They have great desserts like: Key Lime Pie, Bourbon Street Pecan Pie, Hot Fudge Sundae, Carrot Cake, Cheesecake,Chocolate Mousse Torte and Banana Bread Pudding.
