Drew Brees is coming to Biloxi

By Jeff Shepard – bio | email

BILOXI – (WLOX) New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees will make an appearance at Gulf Coast Cards and Collectibles in Edgewater Mall in Biloxi on April 18th. Brees is scheduled to sign between 300 and 600 autographs.

Tickets to the event will cost $150, with a portion of the proceeds going directly to the Brees Dream Foundation, which is setup with the goal of advancing research in the fight against cancer and providing care, education and opportunities for children in need.

The event is scheduled to last from 12:30-2:30 PM, but the times are subject to change.

Gulf Coast Cards manager Matt Helms tells WLOX Sports, "It's an event that he doesn't do very frequently. Part of the proceeds will go to his foundation, so it's going to be a great way to raise some money for his charity, which will be a lot of fun."

"He knew he could do an event here that would be secure and run professionally," Helms continued. "So that was a real compliment to us. It's nice that we were allowed to host this event."

For tickets to the event, call 228-388-5178.
