Escatawpa chiropractor arrested on meth charges

JACKSON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - An Escatawpa chiropractor and his girlfriend were arrested Friday night after narcotics agents say a search of the doctor's office revealed a meth lab.

Agents with the Jackson County Narcotics Taskforce arrested Dr. Brady Toulme' and Callie Denise Stewart, both of Escatawpa. According to Lieutenant Curtis Spiers, a search of Dr. Toulme's office and home around 6pm Friday revealed meth and precursors to make meth.

Both Toulme' and Stewart have been charged with manufacturing and possession of methamphetamine, as well as possession of precursors and generation of hazardous materials.

Spiers said the charges will be enhanced because they were found to be in possession of a firearm and the meth lab was within 1500 feet of a church.
