BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - A Biloxi resident saw something suspicious shortly after midnight Monday and called police. The tip paid off.

According to police, when officers arrived at the Summer Chase Apartments on Popp's Ferry Road, they found Paul Lawrence Clark mixing chemicals in a bottle to make meth. The process is called "shake and bake."

After getting a warrant to search Clark's apartment, officers also found drug paraphernalia. The 37-year-old Clark is being held at the Harrison County jail on a $300,000 bond. He is charged with manufacture of a controlled substance, possession of precursor chemicals, and generation of waste in the manufacture of a controlled substance.

The Mississippi Department of Corrections has also placed a hold on Clark because he was on probation.
