Kiln man sentenced for child pornography

GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) - A Kiln man will spend more than seven years behind bars for sending obscene photos to minors.

Aaron Brensike, 64, was ordered Wednesday to serve 87 months in federal prison followed by three years of supervised release. He must also pay a $12,500 fine and to forfeit two computers.

Brensike pled guilty in October 2009 to an indictment charging him with the transfer of obscene material to minors. Brensike admitted to engaging in sexually explicit chats and sending obscene photos over the internet to someone he believed was a 14-year-old girl. In reality, he was communicating with someone who was assisting the FBI.

"This prosecution is a continuing effort by this office to remove people like Brensike from civil society," said U.S. Attorney Donald Burkhalter.
