Two ejected from boat in Bayou La Croix

BAY ST LOUIS, MS (WLOX) - Two men were ejected from a boat when it ran aground in Bayou La Croix in Bay St. Louis around 4 pm Wednesday.

The men were aided by passersby on Highway 603. One of the boaters was transported by ambulance to Hancock Medical Center, and the other refused immediate medical attention.

The Mississippi Department of Marine Resources State Marine Patrol is investigating the accident.

The Mississippi Department of Marine Resources is dedicated to enhancing, protecting and conserving marine interests of the state by managing all marine life, public trust wetlands, adjacent uplands and waterfront areas to provide for the optimal commercial, recreational, educational and economic uses of these resources consistent with environmental concerns and social changes.
