BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - The Gulf Coast Carnival Association is in the home stretch. On Tuesday, the krewe will take to the streets of Biloxi with almost 100 floats in their parade.
On Monday, the floats are kept in what's called the den. Float sponsors spend the day loading beads on to the floats and getting them ready to roll.
"I would think there are probably half a million sets of beads that will be thrown this year," said GCCA veteran Rusty David.
One thing you will notice in the 2010 parade is a New Orleans Saints theme. The Who Dat Nation will be well represented.
"There will be plenty of black and gold in honor of our world champions. It's going to be special," Saints fan and krewe member Tommy Esposito said.
