GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) – "I was crying last night and we stayed up until 2:00 in the morning," said Frankie Moran of Diamondhead.

"Unbelievable.  Still in shock," said Paul Reeder of Biloxi.

The Saints' awesome victory on Super Bowl Sunday was the talk of the town Monday.

"We pulled party poppers when they won," said Ginny Russum of Gulfport.

"Oh, I'm so happy. I never thought I'd see this day that they'd win," said Anthony Mahler of Gulfport.

Who Dats flocked to Academy Sports in Gulfport early Monday morning. They couldn't wait to show off their Super Bowl pride, by snatching up grey Championship t-shirts.

"It's hard not to get caught up in it, especially when you have kids that are huge Saints fans," one lady said as she went through a stack of t-shirts.

"We're supposed to be at work right now," another woman said.

"That's right. We have flipped out to get our Saints paraphernalia for the Who Dat nation," said her friend.

Fans didn't seem to mind shelling out big bucks and standing in long lines for Saints apparel.

"I'm 74-year-old woman buying these. Isn't that funny?" a woman said as she paid for her items.

As soon as the game ended on Sunday, the store re-opened.  Within two hours, all of their championship t-shirts and hats were sold out. The store has already received its fourth shipment of shirts.

"Yes, they are selling fast," said Kevin Butler, Academy Team Sports Manager.

When asked about the most popular items, Butler responded "Right now, the Super Bowl shirts. Anything with Saints on it right now, we cleaned out.  We had emblems, license plate tags, pictures and everything. All that's gone."

Disappointed fans may have to wait another day for more merchandise to arrive.

"We got to have something to represent the Saints winning the Super Bowl.  I don't expect to be another 44 years, but I'm going to enjoy this one," said Rick Fayard of Waveland.

"We're so happy because we just love the Saints. Who Dat say they gonna beat dem Saints? Nobody!" Moran chanted.

The store manager said more items are coming in Tuesday, including t-shirts with the Super Bowl ring on them, as well as white t-shirts with the whole team roster.  Super Bowl hats should also be available on Tuesday.
