NEW ORLEANS, LA (WLOX) - Good Morning America Co-Anchor and former Pass Christian resident Robin Roberts, turned up the heat on Saints fever in a live broadcast from Jackson Square in New Orleans Friday morning.

The lifelong Saints fan said she wanted to give the rest of the nation a taste of the Who Dat Nation.

"It's wonderful to be here in New Orleans feeling the spirit here and. of course. you know this is the Who Dat Nation," Roberts said.

No one in their right mind would be willing to argue that point. A sea of black and gold said it all.

Most of the people in the crowd turned out for the early morning show to let America know just how proud they are of the New Orleans Saints.

"Because once in a lifetime opportunities only come around once in a lifetime," Bay St. Louis native Nickole Jeffords said. "I've been a Saints fan probably since I've been old enough to walk, or talk, or think maybe even, I'm not sure."

Jeffords' friend Doris Dyson of New Orleans echoed her words.

"This is history for us here in New Orleans," Dyson said. "It's a great city, great town. We've been behind the Saints for years."

As for Roberts, she could hardly contain the favoritism she feels for the Saints.

"I have to also remember that I need to have a job on Monday morning and so I'm rooting for the Saints. It's not like I'm against the Colts or I'm Anti-Colts or all that. This is only going to air locally right?" Roberts asked with a smile.

Win or lose, the Big Easy will host a huge parade and street party for the Saints on Tuesday.
