NEW ORLEANS (WLOX) - Here's proof that the city of New Orleans is completely focused on the Saints and the Super Bowl. An Orleans Parish judge ordered a trial set to begin Monday be delayed until after the big game.
The order from Judge Michael G. Bagneris is not your typical dry court document. It reads in part, "The Court takes judicial notice that Saintsmania permeates the City of New Orleans. Many prospective jurors.... several attorneys and Court personnel plan on traveling to the promise land... The Court recognizes that this pilgrimage enhances the chances of the Who Dat Nation to acquire the long sought after Holy Grail - the Vince Lombardi Trophy."
Judge Bagneris rescheduled the trial for Tuesday, February 9. However, he may not realize that's the day of the big Saints parade in the Big Easy.
