Second half surge sends Colts to Super Bowl XLIV

Indianapolis, IN (WLOX) – Indianapolis was down 17-13 at the half. But Peyton Manning led his Colts on two second half touchdown drives. And that was more than enough to carry Indianapolis to a 30-17 victory over the New York Jets. The Colts have qualified for their second Super Bowl since moving to the state of Indiana.

Manning's opponent in Super Bowl XLIV will be determined at the Louisiana Superdome. Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings will play Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints.  Kickoff is at 5:40 pm.

Be sure to tune into WLOX News at 5:30 for last minute game reports from the Superdome. A.J. Giardina and Jeff Shepard are both in New Orleans to cover the NFC Championship game.
