BILOXI, MS (WLOX) – Anxious Saints fans will have to wait just a bit longer to cheer on the black and gold when New Orleans hosts its first NFC Championship game. The NFL has announced that next Sunday's game will start at 5:40 pm.
Because New Orleans is the number one seed in the NFC, it will host the championship game. The winner of today's Dallas/Minnesota game will travel to the Superdome on January 24, 2010 to tackle the Saints.
The AFC Championship game will be played in Indianapolis at 2:00 next Sunday. That match up will feature the number one seeded Colts, and the winner of the San Diego/New York Jets game.
If you're interested in going to the NFC title game, be prepared to pay. StubHub.com has ticket prices for seats in the Superdome that range from $340 to $9,000.
