Gulfport woman killed in Dedeaux Road accident

GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) - Janice Dailey, 46, of Gulfport died Wednesday night in an accident on Dedeaux Road. Police said her Nissan Altima left the road for unknown reasons and rolled several times.

She was headed east on Dedeaux and was not wearing her seat belt when the accident happened. Dailey was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove said an autopsy will be performed on Dailey's body Thursday morning.

Police are still working to determine what caused her car to leave the road. Her vehicle was the only one involved in the accident.
