Moss Point Family Attacked At Home

A Moss Point man and his family are breathing a sign of relief after being attacked in the driveway of their own home.

Police have released few details, but they say Fredrick Holloway was attacked by three men with guns sometime after 11 Wednesday night. It happened just after Holloway drove up to his home at 5106 Bay Avenue in Moss Point.

Holloway's wife and two small children were with him in the car. Police say the attackers made Holloway open the back door of his home, and forced the family inside.

There, authorities say, the men demanded cash and searched through the Holloway's home, all the while holding the family at gunpoint. The men took the keys to the family's two cars and made their getaway.

Neighbors say they didn't know anything was wrong until they heard police sirens.

Frederick Holloway was shot in the foot. He had surgery Thursday afternoon at Singing River Hospital and is in fair condition.

Moss Point Police are questioning three people about the attack on the Holloway's, but as of Thursday night have not filed any charges. They have also found the family cars.
