Favre commits to Mississippi State

BAY ST. LOUIS, MS (WLOX) - St. Stanislaus head football coach Forrest Williams confirmed to WLOX Sports that Rockachaw quarterback Dylan Favre committed to play at Mississippi State University on Saturday.

Favre, who led the Rocks to the Class 4A state championship, played in the Offense-Defense High School All-America football game in Myrtle Beach, SC earlier in the day on Saturday.

Favre was named Mr. Football in the state of Mississippi for his stellar senior season. In his senior season, he threw for 5,689 yards and 63 TDs. He also ran for 1,265 yards and 18 more TDs.
