BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - Biloxi firefighters say an early morning blaze destroyed a house on Fayard Street. Neighbors say the house is owned by the family of former University of Southern Mississippi quarterback Reggie Collier.

Neighbors tell WLOX that Collier's grandfather, the late Rev. Robert Nance, built the house.

Firefighters say the people who were in the house when the fire broke out made it out safely. Officials are still investigating the cause of the fire.

WLOX will have more on this story tonight at 5:30 pm.
