SEASONS is an in-patient mental health unit that treats senior citizens only. SEASONS, which accepts Medicare, is a calm, bright unit in Garden Park Medical Center. The staff has experience with medical and psychiatric issues that are common to those over age 55 and provide quality care for those who have dementia (including Alzheimer's and Parkinson's), depression, anxiety, substance abuse or who are experiencing a change that concerns their loved ones. Dr. James Rusch and Maureen Stanton, Nurse Practitioner make up the psychiatric staff. Three Master's level social workers are available to assist you in decision-making and helping you make appropriate arrangements for your loved one after they leave the hospital. The social workers are Richard Olaivar, Director of SEASONS, Brenda Crew who is the main therapist and Teresa (TK) Hagwood, the community liaison. Nursing staff provides medical care 24 hours a day.
