GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) - After almost two months on the run, a man wanted for a Moss Point murder has been arrested.
Thursday, U.S. Marshals arrested 39-year-old Myron Johnson in Tampa. The arrest warrant alleges Johnson was involved in the October 5, 2009 murder of Jermaine Kelly, 35.
Kelly was shot inside his grandmother's home on Magnolia Street in Moss Point. Moss Point Police and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force investigated, and determined the murder was drug related.
Another suspect in the murder, Spencer Lawrence, was arrested in Lucedale on November 25 by George County Sheriff's deputies.
