OCEAN SPRINGS, MS (WLOX) - New details are emerging in the search for a suspect in the Mike Surber murder case. But Ocean Springs police say they aren't close to making an arrest.

These are the newest pictures investigators sent us of their person of interest. They were taken by surveillance cameras at Skeeters Billiards on November 10th. That was the last time Mike Surber was seen alive. And the last time the person of interest was seen on the coast.

Ocean Springs authorities originally identified their person of interest as a white man using the name Jericho Cooper. But they told us when they followed a series of leads to Georgia, they met a black man with the same name, whose identity had been stolen.

The person of interest apparently went from Georgia to the coast and then to Jackson. But he hasn't been seen in three weeks.

Police are hoping to find the man, and question him, to see what he knows about Surber's murder.
