HANCOCK COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - Tony Ladner has won the District Five supervisor race in Hancock County.
When results came in Tuesday night, there were only five votes separating Tony Ladner and Philip Moran. There were eight affidavit votes that still had to be counted.
Wednesday morning, the affidavit votes were counted and determined the winner.
Ladner will serve the remainder of the late Jay Cuevas' term which expires in January 2012.
Tony Ladner received 660 votes, while Philip Moran had 654.
