Biloxi's Tommy Munro dies at 78

BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - Biloxi lost one of its most beloved community leaders Friday when Tommy Munro passed away.

Mr. Munro was a businessman and a public servant. His legacy was rooted in the family's petroleum business.

Along the way, Munro served in the state senate. He helped found the Biloxi Bay Chamber of Commerce. And in 1989, he reigned over his hometown as King D'Iberville.

Tommy Munro was 78 years old.
