GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) - There were hundreds of little smiling faces in Gulfport on Saturday. Gulf Coast Community Action Agency put on its annual Fall Festival for its Head Start program.

The festival was open to the more than 800 children enrolled in Harrison County and their parents. The families enjoyed games, face painting and entertainment.

Organizers say the goals are to increase parental involvement and provide a relaxed and educational environment for families. There are current two Head Starts under construction in Harrison County on Popp's Ferry Road and Dedeaux Road.
