GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) - Gulfport police have arrested and charged four people in connection with a burglary and kidnapping. Among the four suspects is a woman who was first thought to be a victim.
The case began September 18th when 27-year-old Reshawnta Tillis of Gulfport was visiting a home in the 3900 block of Park Boulevard. The initial report said two men with guns forced their way inside, tied up Tillis and another woman with duct tape, then stole money and jewelry before leaving the residence.
A month long investigation led to the arrests of 39-year-old Nathaniel Harris of Gulfport, 41-year-old Johnathan Dedeaux of Pass Christian and 43-year-old Loray Haynes of Gulfport. All three men face charges of burglary and kidnapping.
Reshawnta Tillis, one of the original victims, is also charged with burglary and kidnapping. Police recovered stolen jewelry, firearms and a military bulletproof vest.
Tillis and Dedeaux are being held on $1 million bond. Bond for Haynes and Harris was set at $200,000.
