Diane Compton is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor with five years experience in psychotherapy. She practices with Dr. James Rusch, board certified psychiatrist, at the Renaissance Counseling Center in Gulfport.
Diane has specialized education, training and experience in working with children, adolescents and families. Diane has excellent assessment and diagnostic skills and expertise in assisting clients of all ages with complex psychological problems.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Diane provides psychotherapy and cognitive behavioral therapy of individuals, couples and families who are experiencing personal and/or interpersonal difficulties. Diane provides psychotherapy to children, adolescents and their families for numerous psychological problems including depression, anxiety, panic disorder, ADHD, physical and/or sexual abuse, school adjustment problems, and difficulties adjusting to parental divorce/separation. Diane enjoys working with people of all ages and backgrounds. She believes it is an act of faith and courage to seek help and endeavors to provide clients with open, honest, empathic support in a therapeutic relationship.
