BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - There was a showcase of talent in Biloxi this weekend.  Organizers moved the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival from the Buddhist Temple to the Town Green.

Visitors got to experience the food and traditions of the Vietnamese, Chinese and Filipino cultures. The festival was also a chance for young people to show off their skills in the Gulf Coast's Got Talent and Gulf Coast's Best Dance Crew contests.

"We constantly talk about wanting to take at risk kids off the street," organizer Magalie Albert said. "But we don't have any activities for them to do because, as kids, either they're going to do something good or they're going to do something bad. So if we have good activities for them to engage and participate in, they're more left then to go on the better side."

The highlight of the day was a performance from So Real Cru from the MTV show America's Best Dance Crew. Organizers say young people with the organization Gulf Coast R.E.A.C.H. held car washes and other fundraisers to raise the money to bring them here.
