PASCAGOULA, MS (WLOX) - Pascagoula Police are looking for a Moss Point man who they say led officers on a chase through the city Wednesday.

It started on the Highway 90 Service Drive near the 14th Street overpass in Pascagoula when an officer tried to stop Kadell Hall, 28, for traffic violations. Hall pulled into the parking lot of Popeye's Fried Chicken, as if he were stopping. But instead, he accelerated through the parking lot and went east on the service drive to 14th Street, then north on 14th Street to Telephone Road/Hwy 613 toward Moss Point.

Police say Hall was speeding, swerving in and out of traffic, and even driving on the wrong side of the road. The officer ended the pursuit at Ryder and Telephone, near the Pascagoula city limits.

Investigators say Hall eventually crashed into another vehicle just inside the Moss Point city limits at the intersection of Hwy 613 and Jefferson Street. At that point, Hall ran from crash scene and got away.

During the foot pursuit, one of Pascagoula's patrol cars struck a pole causing severe damage to the patrol car.

According to the Pascagoula Police Department, Kadell Hall lives on Gautier Street in Moss Point. If you have information regarding Hall's whereabouts, call the Pascagoula Police Department at (228) 762-2211.
