D'Iberville Olive Garden to open Monday

By WLOX Staff

D'IBERVILLE, MS (WLOX) - This Monday, Olive Garden will once again open its doors in Harrison County, more than four years after Hurricane Katrina destroyed the popular Italian chain restaurant on the beachfront in Biloxi. The new location is part of the Promenade shopping center in D'Iberville.

Olive Garden has hired 165 employees. The dining room will have seating for 247 people.

During the first week, Olive Garden will only be open for dinner. Starting October 5th, they'll serve lunch and dinner daily.

"D'Iberville is one of the fastest growing cities on the Mississippi Gulf Coast making it the ideal location for the newest member of Olive Garden's family of local restaurants," said Valerie Insignares, Executive Vice President of Operations for Olive Garden.
