BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - Sunday was a time for feasting and celebration in the Muslim community. A feast was held in Biloxi in celebration of EID, the three day celebration marking the end of Ramadan.

During the holy month of Ramadan, Muslims pray, fast and focus on helping the poor for 30 days.

"It's a period of relaxation and it's a time for contemplation and fellowship and enjoy ourselves," said Rashid Sabree, President of the Biloxi Islamic Center.

The Biloxi Islamic Center, which organized the event, is located at 205 Keller Avenue in Biloxi.
