Boat accident victim back on a ventilator

By WLOX Staff

D'IBERVILLE, MS (WLOX) - A 16-year-old boy who survived an August boating accident is back in critical condition.

Last month, Shane Webb was riding in a boat with his brother Christopher when another boat crashed into them. Christopher was killed, while Shane was critically injured.

Thursday, Shane's mother told WLOX News her surviving son has a brain injury and was put back on a ventilator. She said he's in the Intensive Care Unit USA Medical Center.

An account to help pay for Shane's medical expenses has been set up at Kessler Federal Credit Union. To donate, just stop by any branch and ask to make a donation in Shane Webb's name.
