The Mississippi Gulf Coast will host a national stamp collecting convention next month.
Organizers say the Ameri-Stamp Expo should attract hundreds of collectors from throughout the country.
Some special artwork was created to help promote the upcoming show. It features the signatures of coast leaders and canceled stamps that have some connection to the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
The stamp show will be held at the coast coliseum February 28th through March first.
Ken Martin is organizing the stamp show for the American Philatelic Society.
"We'll have about fifty dealers from throughout the US and outside the US. About five thousand pages of exhibits, displays of postage stamps and two new US stamps they'll be issuing for the very first time in Biloxi at special ceremonies," he said.
The two first issue stamps include an art deco mural at the Rockefeller Center called "Wisdom" and a one cent stamp featuring a Tiffany Lamp.
Admission is free to the postage stamp show.
