PASS CHRISTIAN, MS (WLOX) - The body recovered from the Mississippi Sound Monday has been identified as a Louisiana man.
Anthony Lipari, 52, of Metairie, was found floating in the water just south of the Pass Christian Harbor. Officials believe he had been in the water since Sunday afternoon.
Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove told WLOX News that an autopsy showed that Lipari drowned. Hargrove said it was an apparent suicide.
Authorities found Lipari's car parked near the harbor, and used the car tag to track down his family.
