Gulfport seeks ideas for spending grant money

GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) - Gulfport is looking for input on how to best spend more than $1 million in grant money meant to help low and moderate income families.

The city is conducting a survey, asking residents what are their community's most pressing needs. The survey is on the city's website at www.ci.gulfport.ms.us/images/needssurvey.pdf.

Residents need to download the survey, fill it out and return it the Community Development Department by August 31th. You may also fax it to (228) 868-5760 or email to communitydevelopment@gulfport-ms.gov.

The survey is also available to any resident who stops by the Community Development Office located at 1410 24th Avenue.
