BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - A hit and run in Biloxi Sunday afternoon sent one person to the hospital. The collision happened at the intersection of Popps Ferry and Cedar Lake Road.
The driver of a Jeep Cherokee hit a white Grand Prix and then fled the scene. The driver, 80-year-old Kenneth Luther Brown, was finally stopped on Highway 609, just south of Lemoyne Boulevard not long after the incident.
Brown was charged with leaving the scene of an accident with injuries, driving with a suspended license and no proof of insurance.
The driver of the Grand Prix was taken to Biloxi Regional Medical Center. No word on her condition.
