D'Iberville, MS (WLOX) - D'Iberville is still looking for a city manager. Now that favored candidate Bobby Eleuterius has said he will not reconsider, the city is back to square one.

Mayor Rusty Quave told WLOX News on Friday that the issue will be discussed again Monday night when the council meets about the city's budget.

"We'll go into the workshop, then we'll go into executive session, we'll discuss our options," Mayor Quave said. "We may look again at the top three candidates or go back and look at all 17 applicants. We'll discuss our legal options to know what we can do."

Quave said if it's legal, one option may be to accept more applications for the city manager's post. For now, City Planner Jeff Taylor is serving as interim city manager.
