Judge: Pascagoula bar won't reopen until trial

PASCAGOULA, MS (WLOX) - A Pascagoula sports bar that was shut down for suspected drug activity will remain closed for now. Tuesday, Judge Jay Bradley ordered that Rooster's Sports Bar not be allowed to reopen until the case goes to trial.

Police raided the bar earlier this month. The district attorney's office filed a request to temporarily shut it down after receiving numerous complaints about drug activity and alleged prostitution.

Narcotics Task Force Commander Curtis Spiers said three sports bar employees were also arrested for drugs possession this year. No trial date has been set.
