Laurent wants his trial moved out of Hancock County

HANCOCK COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -  The attorney for a man accused of murdering his wife says his client can't get a fair trial in Hancock County. Leo Laurent is accused of killing his wife in 2007. Brandi Laurent's body was later found in a field in the Kiln. Attorney Brian Alexander says it's not possible to find impartial jurors in Hancock County.

He wants the trial moved out of the county. No word on if or when that request could be granted.
