JACKSON, MS (WLOX) - Mississippi' attorney general announced Friday that an Oklahoma man, who A.J. Giardina investigated in a 2007 WLOX Action Report, has pleaded guilty to home repair fraud charges.
Reginald Cazenave, 48, won't have to serve any jail time for incomplete work on a Bay St. Louis couple's home. But he will have to pay a $2,000 fine, and repay the homeowners $20,000.
Anthony and Sonja Alexis said they paid Cazanave more than $23,000 to work on their Katrina-damaged home. But they say he only laid a slab for them and did little else.
