Grilled Flat Iron Steak with Chimichurri Sauce

Flat Iron Steak

  • 4-8oz Flat Iron Steaks
  • 2oz Olive Oil
  • TT Salt
  • TT Pepper
  1. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  2. Rub steaks with olive oil.
  3. In a hot skillet, sear steaks for 4 minutes on one side.  Flip and sear for 4 minutes on the other side.  Steaks should be medium rare.

Garlic Fries

  • 2lb       Frozen French Fries
  • 4oz      Whole Softened Butter
  • 3oz      Roasted Garlic Puree
  • 1oz      Fresh Chopped Parsley
  1. Deep fry French fries until golden brown and drain.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mix butter and garlic.  Finish with chopped parsley.
  3. In the same mixing bowl with the butter mixture, toss in hot French fries


  • 6oz      Red Wine Vinegar
  • 8oz      Olive Oil
  • 1cup    Flat Leaf Parsley
  • 1cup    Fresh Oregano
  • 1/2cup Shallots
  • 1tsp     Fresh Chopped Garlic
  • 1/4tsp  Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1/3tsp  Kosher Salt
  • 1/3tsp  Coarse Black Pepper
  1. In a large mixing bowl, put chopped garlic, shallots, parsley, oregano, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Add red wine vinegar and whisk in olive oil to make a thick dressing.
